"I love my job because I give a voice to the voiceless.

I have a Bluetick Coonhound named Dixie Reagan, an American Black and Tan Coonhound named Junebug, a Catahoula Leopard named Lance, and a miniature dachshund named Willie Weenie Womack. My favorite breed has always been hounds. I love their goofy personalities, long floppy ears, their loyalty, and the way they bay, bark and carry on. I call it the “hound song”.

In 2017, I received the Texas Law Enforcement Achievement award for my work efforts as an animal cruelty investigator in Harris County. The award is only presented to approximately 20 officers from the entire state of Texas each year. I was the first person to ever receive this award at my agency."
