"I love my job because it keeps me on my toes.

I currently have 2 rescue dogs, Andy and Belle, and 3 rescued cats named Peggy, Sammy, and Lucy. My pets are an enormous source of comfort to me. They bring my stress level down like nothing else can.  I love all animals, and believe they have the same effect on most other people as well.

I chose to adopt my pets because I know how many homeless animals there are.  I see them in the streets every day.

I’ve volunteered for various shelters and rescue groups in the past, including South Houston Animal Shelter and Dakota Rescue. Taking shelter dogs for runs is a great source of exercise and I encourage anyone getting into shape to give it a try."
