"I love my job most because I make get to make a difference. I work hard on each shift and try to be as helpful as possible. I've been in many situations where I thought nobody would help or care and I don't want anybody in our community to feel like that as long as we're here. Plus I get ample time off with my family.
At home, I have a 7 pound monster named Kolby. He is a Yorkie and the greatest little dog I've ever had. He is such a loyal dog. I sit down, he sits down. I take a nap, he naps on my chest. Kolby is pretty spoiled and needs to be the only dog in the house so he doesn’t have any furry brothers or sisters. He’s got “little dog syndrome” and thinks he’s way bigger than he actually is!
All dogs want is love and to play. They have endless love to give back, which is what makes them so awesome.
I’ve learned though, to never jam out to hard music in my car with Kolby sitting in my window. I never look as tough as I think I do."
Our thanks and appreciation to our pal Tex for appearing in the 2018 Red White & Rescue Calendar and for serving our community!
