"I always wanted to be a part of the blue family. When I moved to Texas from Wisconsin I decided to pursue my dream. I enjoy all of the challenges that come my way with a career in law enforcement. Every day is different than the one before, which keeps it exciting.

I have two pets at home, a Dutch Shepherd named Nala and a Tabby cat named Simba. It’s obvious we love The Lion King in our household, isn’t it? They both enjoy chasing after one another and drinking out of each other's water bowls.

I found Simba on the side of a country road, covered with fleas, and knew instantly my home would be his forever. Nala, on the other hand, was even more of a surprise. I’d been thinking about rescuing a dog for a while even though there was not much room in my house. But I kept looking, and she showed up on my Facebook newsfeed one morning. The very next day I was at the shelter checking to see if she would be a good match for my family. Luckily she was, and I brought her home two days later. She has been enjoying her endless amount of toys since coming to our house!"
