"I love helping people; this job can be so rewarding. I also love that every call is different and requires you to think outside the box. There's also a strong bond in the fire service. It is a very special kind of family that extends around the world.
Our family has one rescue dog named Cody. He is our second rescue. He is very affectionate and has lots of personality. He has a mohawk and different colored eyes, and it fits his personality perfectly. He fits right in with our family.
I truly believe rescued animals are forever grateful. When you adopt, you choose to love a pet that someone else may have overlooked or given up on. If given the chance, they will love you back tenfold. It can be a blessing, to not just the pet, but the new owner, too. That has definitely been our experience."
